Essential Functions
Shared responsibility for finished goods meeting or exceeding customer expectations
Machine setup and operation
Setup SPC Program and monitor tube parameters
Maintain machine cleanliness and a clean, safe and orderly work area. Clean all work surfaces in the controlled environment using the approved cleaning solutions.
Understand the extrusion process (training required)
Prepare for upcoming jobs
Follow Clean Room protocol
Follow Clean Room gowning and de-gowning procedures. Wear only approved and proper cleanroom garments (gloves, facemasks, head covers mocks or jump suits).
Clean Room inspection, cleaning, and packaging per standard work
Follow directions from drawings, standard work and work instructions
Make labels for tubing and properly complete production reports
Proper use of measuring devices (measurement training required)
Adhere to quality standards and guidelines. Maintain accurate records
Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5s practices
Report production issues to Value Stream Team Leader
Perform work of an equal or lower classification

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED, recognizes International Diplomas (may need to be translated to English)
U.S. Citizen or permanent residency status required
Previous cleanroom experience preferred but not required.
Prior extrusion experience (1-2 yrs) preferred.
Must be able to read work orders and interpret manufacturing specifications, understand and use shop math, use and interpret measuring instruments (calipers, stop watch, gauges, calculator, etc.)
Must be able to demonstrate ability to operate department equipment
Must be able to adapt to production needs to satisfy customer demands
Must be able to work and communicate with peers
Must be able to write legibly, read and speak English
Basic understanding of lean fundamentals preferredPhysical & PPE Requirements:
Standing, sitting, bending, walking, squatting, kneeling, upper arm lifting, firm grasping, reaching above head and good eyesight, work in a small area, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) Requires the ability wear specific cleanroom garments depending on assigned location and environment, which may include, but are not limited to; jump suits, head covers, shoe covers, etc. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and ear plugs (85-90 dB) are all required PPE.
