We invite you to consider this exciting opportunity and provide us with an opportunity to learn more about you and your skills! **About the Team** The Hospitality Services Division is committed to providing world class services for patients, staff and the community at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. We provide a wide range of services while working in close conjunction with various departments to ensure the successful completion of those requests. We monitor the collection of data to increase efficiency and reduce costs that translates into cost savings for our patients while maintaining high level of care. **What will you be doing in this role?** Under general supervision, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support, coordinating all administrative activities of the office. Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness and problem-solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of the responsibilities, functions and underlying management structure of the department and of the larger Health System in organizing and prioritizing work, establishing procedures and systems and ensuring the orderly and timely flow of business through the office. Coordinates the clerical and administrative staff workflow through the office. Coordinates and administers human resource and payroll functions and participates in budget review and financial processes. Reviews various financial, business and related reports and data. Edits data for errors and makes corrections coordinating such action with the data originator. Notes variances or discrepancies of reported data from that planned or projected, and ensures that they are brought to the attention of the Manager for action as necessary. Assembles files and background information to facilitate and assist in timely action. **Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities) we are looking for:** + High School Diploma or GED required. + College Diploma preferred. + 1 year of administrative/office experience is highly preferred. + Ability to balance multiple demands and/or manage complex and competing priorities. + Ability to work within tight time frames and meet deadlines. + Ability to demonstrate time management and priority setting skills. + Ability to use software applications and operate technological devices (e.g., computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.). + Proficient working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite. + Demonstrates positive interpersonal and interdepartmental communication skills. + Cooperates with co-workers/managers to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment. + Provides professional organizational skills and a good attention to detail, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks effectively to ensure the timely completion of projects within established timelines.
