**Space Systems is seeking** an Associate Software Engineer/Software Engineer. This position will be located at our Launch Vehicles business unit in Chandler, AZ **.**

**Roles and Responsibilities **

Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.

**Basic Qualifications for Associate Software Engineer:**

**Must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:**

+ Be completing or has completed their Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
+ Be majoring in or having majored in a Software Engineering or related field
+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
+ Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

**Basic Qualifications for Software Engineer:**

**Must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:**

+ Be completing or has completed their Masters Degree from an accredited institution.
+ Be majoring in or having majored in a Software Engineering or related field
+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
+ Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

**Preferred Qualifications for both levels:**

+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higher

**Pay Range for Associate Software Engineer:**

57,800.00 - 86,600.00

**Pay Range for Software Engineer:**

70,600.00 - 105,800.00

Salary Range: $57,800.00 - $86,600.00Salary Range 2: $70,600.00 - $105,800.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
