**Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator (RN) to join our growing Clinical Decision team located in Richland, Washington!**
**Shift Details:** 1.0 FTE, Full-Time, Variable Shift
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher, or in progress. If in progress, it must be completed within 3 years from date of hire.
+ Has 2 years recent nursing experience.
+ Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
+ Current WA State RN Licensure.
+ Active membership in professional organization(s) (as applicable) required
**Preferred Qualification**
+ Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution.
+ 2 years recent nursing experience in related clinical setting.
+ Certification in related specialty area.
+ Healthcare leadership and/or supervisory experience.
+ Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills.
**Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:**
As a Coordinator, you will supervise the day to day activities of the Unit; You will serve as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients and their families to facilitate safe and effective flow of patient care in a manner consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center; and assists in providing direction and supervision of nursing and support staff, as well as perform related duties as assigned.Foster an environment that nurtures collaboration, teamwork, and mutual respect through effective communication.

+ Take actions that indicate a consideration of others and being aware of the impact of ones behaviors on others.
+ Optimize use of time by effectively using resources to identify barriers and balance priorities
+ Direct and supervise employees.
+ Collaborate with Human Resources on personnel issues.
+ Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruitment items including completing requisitions, interviewing, hiring.
+ Insure appropriate staff competencies are maintained (licensure, certification, orientation, mandatory training continuing education).
+ Continually assess staffing needs and adjusts staffing assignments as needed to provide optimum patient care and productivity.
+ Assist Manager in assessing and planning educational needs of staff, and makes recommendations.
+ Provide leadership and guidance in goal setting, problem solving, resource management, outcome achievement and performance improvement activities.
+ Assist Manager and/or Educator and staff in development of a Process Improvement Plan.
+ Coordinate collection of data and works collaboratively with manager and staff to interpret data and to plan and implement techniques for improvement.
+ Collaborate with other departments to create systems.
+ Problem solve ongoing issues that impact departmental/organizational goals and /or patient care delivery.
+ Coach staff effectively in growing and being successful in their current job duties.
+ Organize and coordinate office functions (types memos, attends meetings, takes minutes, types reports and approves time cards).
+ Participate in unit and house-wide quality improvement activities in order to improve patient care and comply with regulatory groups such as Leapfrog and Core Measures.
+ Provide support to the Manager as directed. Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Maintain mandatory education requirements of the department.
+ Identify, lead and implement evidence-based practice opportunities within the unit.
+ Assist the unit in high volume times by taking patient assignments in the area where competencies are held, as directed by the Manager.
