Job Description:

Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) seeks a qualified Cyber Security Architect to offer subject matter expertise in the development of a large scale system modernization & security strategy. The Cyber Security Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT Security, Engineering, Operations, etc. to provide a wide range of management and technical services to significantly improve business cyber security posture and efficiencies.

The Cyber Security Architect will be required to identify and manage cyber and business execution requirements, analyze existing business IT and Operational Technology (OT) type environments, and will design solution architectures that integrate with larger enterprise systems and mitigate cyber and operational risk. Job duties include:

+ Architect and design Digital Technology solutions for the following technical areas:

+ Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Security Architecture & Design, AWS Security Tools, Auditing/Monitoring of AWS Cloud environments, Identity and Access Management (IAM)

+ Network Security Firewall, Network Infrastructure, Network Access Control, Network Segmentation, DMZ, Load Balancers

+ Operational Technology, Manufacturing, and IOT systems

+ DevSecOps Automating, monitoring, and applying security controls at all phases within the software lifecycle

+ Lead and contribute to creation and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure security related reference architectures and designs for Cloud, Factories, Labs, Functions, and Programs.
Present and review architectures at business and corporate level design reviews

+ Gather business requirements from technical IT and Engineering resources to define use cases and develop security solutions

+ Design and develop shared security services

+ Align information security objectives and designs to external customer requirements such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001

+ Design, document and remediate enterprise risks in areas such as network connectivity, application data flow, emerging technologies and business processes

+ Evaluate and recommend new, disruptive, innovative technologies (Cloud, AI, Analytics, etc.) that require an integrated security architecture

+ Provide cyber security technical guidance and leadership for internal cybersecurity teams, programs, and business development efforts

+ Prepare cost/labor estimates for cybersecurity measures and identify potential integration risks or opportunities

Required Skills:

+ Minimum of 6 years of Cyber Security or Information Assurance related design, architecture, and systems implementation experience

+ Experience (within the last five (5) years) in evaluating information technology security issues, developing and implementing solutions to address findings

+ Working knowledge and experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) design principles and security architecture, cloud security tools, and auditing of cloud infrastructure deployments

+ Deep understanding in the application and integration of security technologies (i.e. Next-gen FW, PKI, SIEM, Access Control, DLP, IPS, etc.) and how security technologies support an overall security program

+ Substantial experience and understanding of Industry Information Security Standards and frameworks - e.g. NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, IS027001

+ Working knowledge of modern federated identity management and access control in cloud environments including SAML, LDAP, Active Directory

+ Ability to analyze all layers of the OSI model from the security viewpoint

+ Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, MacOS, Unix Operating Systems

+ Ability to advocate for the integration of security solutions into the enterprise standards portfolio based upon business requirements

+ Effective communication, teaming and leadership skills encompassing cross-functional teams, peer relationships, informing, understanding and appreciating differences

+ Experience in conducting cyber security risk assessments of Information Systems

Desired Skills:

+ 3 years of combined technical experience in a security governance, information security operations, or cyber security operations role within the past 10 years

+ Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform design principles and security architectures

+ Hold an active ISC2 CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification

+ Hold an active GSEC GIAC Certified Security Essentials or higher GIAC certification

+ Hold an active AWS Certified Architect - Associate or Professional certification

+ Hold an active TOGAF Certification The Open Group Architecture Framework

+ Security-related Network and Operating Systems certification or training

+ Python or other high level automation programming experience

+ Chef, Puppet, Terraform or other infrastructure as code automation experience

+ Experience analyzing JSON code for AWS IAM and Service Control Policies (SCP)

+ Experience with containerized applications and infrastructure such as Docker, Kubernetes

+ Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines, such as Jenkins, Concourse, AWS Codepipeline

+ Experience integrating cyber security controls within DevSecOps processes and pipelines

+ PKI certificate authority experience

Required Education (including Major):

+ Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
