Essential Functions
Assist engineering team in the investigation of pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, strength-weight efficiency, contractual specifications.
Prepares detailed drawings and assembly drawings through the use of 3D-CAD system.
Working with a cross functional team (engineering, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, quality, and accounting).
Write and prepare engineering standards with the guidance of a Senior Engineer.
Assist in the processing of Engineering Change Requests and Engineering Change Orders
Assist in Lab Product Testing and Reporting
Student must be currently pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent) at an accredited university/college.
Strong verbal and writing communications skills
Ability to work in a team environment
3D-CAD experience is highly preferred (Autodesk Inventor preferred but not required)
