- Assist engineering team in the investigation of pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, strength-weight efficiency, contractual specifications.
- Prepare detailed drawings and assembly drawings through the use of 3D-CAD system.
- Working with a cross functional team (engineering, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, quality and accounting).
- Write and prepare engineering standards with the guidance of a Senior Engineer.
- Assist in the processing of Engineering Change Requests and Engineering Change Orders.
- Assist in Lab Product Testing and Reporting.
- Special projects as required by the engineering team.
-Junior or higher and must be pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent) at an accredited university/college.
-Strong verbal and writing communication skills
-Ability to work in a team environment.
-3D-CAD experience is highly preferred. (Autodesk Inventor is preferred but not required)
