Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityThe Electrical / Controls Engineer implements electrical projects as the Lead Engineer for an integrated system or sub-system. Engineer provides planning, reporting and management of the electrical project, in addition to technical implementation. The Electrical Controls Engineer takes full ownership of the electrical project elements and executes (and/or delegate) individual tasks throughout the project life cycle by coordinating and forecasting electrical resources in-house and on site (may include other Electrical Project Engineers). The Engineer takes a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, overall electrical architecture and manages the scope, budget (OAs, COs), schedule, maintaining internal and external customer expectations throughout the project life cycle. In this role, you will also:

- Create electrical model drawings, electrical device layout drawings, e-stop drawings, network drawings, including schematic drawings by panel.
- Developing buyout configuration and motor calculation worksheets. Create permit drawings.
- Ordering control panels, electrical field devices, and electrical buyouts.
- Setting up and testing electrical prototypes
- Developing electrical spare parts list and site readiness checklist.
- Setting up electrical networks and Profibus, performing I/O checkout and commissioning, labeling electrical devices, creating electrical punch list for installation, and troubleshooting electrical product issues on site.
- PLC Programming
- Provide as-built technical documentation.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors degree in engineering (preferably Electrical)
Proficiency with AutoCAD and programming of PLCs (preferably Allen-Bradley)
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
