Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Test Set Principal Software Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.

This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

**What Youll Get To Do:**

This requisition is for a Guidance Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) Software Engineer to support the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) suite of test sets. The candidate will be part of a small EGSE Team supporting GBSD test set enhancements and upgrades.

Responsibilities include software development, test, delivery, and support in response to various requirements. In this role, the candidate will interface with AVE HWIL and AVE System Test Engineers, systems administrators, vendors and test conductors, in order to execute test set tasks as required during the full life cycle.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

**Job Qualifications:**

**Youll Bring These Qualifications:**

Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar STEM Degree and 5 years of experience.

Programming experience in LabView on Windows

Ability to travel 25% to support offsite operations and Roy, UT operations

Active DoD Secret Clearance with investigation date occurring in the last 5 years and the ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

**These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:**

Good understanding of basic networking concepts

Able to troubleshoot and debug software & hardware

Able to work effectively in a small team. Willing to take on challenges and take initiative to resolve issues.

Able to communicate technical information and issues with teammates.


Salary Range: $87,400.00 - $131,200.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
