Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager(S02) to join its team. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here . Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

**What you will get to do:**

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Requirements, Verification, and Specialty Team Lead for the Payloads IPT. This is a Systems Engineering Manager 2.
Responsible for direct supervision/management of the Payload/Reentry Systems (PRS) Requirements, Verification, and Specialty (RVS) staff. Provides guidance and applies policy to employees. Performs planning for PRS RVS activities for GBSD EMD including reporting on schedule and technical performance of tasks. Responsible for hiring, performance evaluations, development and engagement of PRS RVS staff. Responsible for overseeing, reviewing and approving PRS RVS products that will include requirements development, verification planning, and coordination of PRS products with the GBSD specialty engineering teams.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.



**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in a technical or business related field and a minimum 10 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years' experience.
+ 10 years of experience in Requirements Development environment
+ Experience coordinating tasking and leading a small (5 to 10 people) team
+ Top Secret Clearance

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ 10 years of experience in ICBM environment
+ Experience training, leading, and developing new employees
+ Experience with ICBM requirements development
+ Experience with verification of requirements through testing, simulation and/or inspection.
