Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Engineer Systems. This position will be located in Ogden, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

The successful applicant will:

Develop models to simulate and evaluate hardware performance
Perform model validation through test and analysis
Develop, perform and document tests, includes test planning, test conduction, data analysis and documenting test results
Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for missile system payloads
Verify specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis
Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements
Create technical reports and present test and analysis results
Interface with AF customer

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.


**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
+ Great problem solving and troubleshooting skills
+ Good verbal and written communications skills for presentation of technical approaches, work performed, results, and findings
+ US Citizenship is required as applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience in writing Test Plans and Procedures
+ Experience in conducting Tests and writing Test Reports
+ Experience in DoD or aerospace product development and manufacturing
+ Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
