Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a **Global Supply Chain Project Manager Level 2 or Principal Global Supply Chain Project Manager Level 3** to join our team in **Redondo Beach, CA** . Note- this is a non-management role with no direct reports.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between GSC, project management, functions and IPTs.
+ May be assigned as a lead of projects that have budgetary and schedule requirements.
+ Compiles and provides succinct status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports, oftentimes briefing leadership.
+ Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
+ Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers and program leadership.
+ Examples of projects include metrics reporting, CDRL to SDRL tracking, compliance to contractual requirements, supply chain risk management and working with cross functional teams to develop program Covered Technical Information reporting requirements.
+ Should be able to creatively solve problems that may not have been encountered before.
+ May be asked to serve as a DOA for GSC.
+ Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts, and principles.
+ Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
+ Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
+ Works under only very general supervision.
+ Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
+ Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
+ Errors in judgement or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.
+ Frequent internal company and external contacts.
+ Represents organization on specific projects. May make presentations to small groups.

**Qualifications:**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of Project Management experience; 1 year with a Master's for level 2. Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of Project Management experience; 4 years with Master's for a level 3.
+ Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
+ Experience leading projects
+ Understanding of SMT construct and subcontracts/procurement processes
+ Experience briefing leadership or small groups

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Secret or TS/SCI clearance
+ Experience within Global Supply Chain organization, especially within Supplier Management or GSC Program Management
+ Experience within NG Space
+ Experience in and understanding of Closed Loop Metrics (Tableau)
+ Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (SAP) and Engineering Property System processes
+ Have held a lead role on a project or implementation
+ Master's degree in supply chain or an MBA
+ EVMS experience
+ CAM experience
+ Experience in CDRL/SDRL tracking and reporting
+ Terms and Conditions negotiation experience
