Major Duties
With limited supervision the HR Leader is responsible for developing, managing, coordinating, and administering HR programs across the span of HR areas.
Includes but not limited to:
- Interfacing with functional and operational leaders on openings
- Review resumes and create candidate pools
- Develop interview and selection process
- Create recommendations for offers
- Partner with functional and operational leaders to complete performance management and talent management cycle
- Ensures consistent application of practices
- Develop and administer local training
- Work with managers to identify best utilization of corporate sponsored training
- Ensure managers and employees complete development plans
- Address complex and varied questions and concerns by managers and employees
- Responsible for challenging employee grievances
- Administer the annual merit process
- Address questions on compensation and benefits
- Conduct reporting and analytics, as needed
- May supervise team members
- Assign and prioritize team member tasks
-Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, Psychology or related discipline
-Minimum of five years human resource experience in a majority of the functional areas described, preferably in a manufacturing environment
-Demonstrated competency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
-Minimal travel required
-Able to effectively communicate and build relationship at all levels within the facility
-Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
-Experience in maintaining a nonunion presence or in the administration of a collective bargaining agreement including grievance investigation, responses and participation in contract negotiations desirable.
