Essential Functions
Position Summary:Leads technical functions for Active Directory Services as part of the Identity and Access Management team. Requires high interaction with business and technical teams to deliver customer solutions. Work in a collaborative environment, sharing ideas and standards.Supports and/or improves business processes with information technology solutions. Develops, designs, and analyzes unique and diverse systems and/or programs of considerable scope and complexity. Ensures integrity of the companys databases, transaction processing and reporting systems, security, resource monitoring, reporting, and the development of specialized systems and processes.Essential Functions:
1. Performs systems analyses of complexity and high impact systems- defining requirements, interfacing with users, and providing cost and benefit analyses. Prepares complex trade-off studies and benchmark analyses.2. Develop, modify or configure highly complex system software:- Collaborates with program and system owners to analyze operational procedures, identify problems, evaluate specific requirements.
- Interface with global business and information technology teams to coordinate project development, changes, or implementation.
- Create detailed user requirements, functional requirements and process work flows.
- Determine change scope and return value for business.
- Recommend actions through analyzing data and comparative models.
- Analyzes, develops/configures, plans or installs software. Tests, documents, and implements complex business solutions. Apply standard security requirements to protect systems. Prepares process documentation to specify, in detail, operations to be performed by systems. Upgrades and maintains systems after implementation.3. Communicates with external customers and suppliers to resolve technical and business issues.4. Developing and managing information technology project plans and schedules:- Acts as consultant to management on major matters.
- May serve as project leader to establishes goals, objectives and timelines.
- Manages work methods used for project.
- Manages assignment completeness, timeliness and accuracy.
- Estimates, develops, and manages project budgets and cost/performance analyses.5. Leads new technology evaluations:- May include operating systems, hardware, software, development tools.
- Identifies alternative or new technologies, security standards, and information technology standards.6. Applies and leads continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency of systems and processes.7. Serve as functional expert, sharing specialized knowledge with others.8. Continuous development- Assess own skills and create development plan. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, establishing industry networks, and/or participating in professional associations.9. Train and mentor team members. Provide leadership within team and potentially for another Parker team/individual team member.10. Oversee development of training modules. Trains users for effective implementation and use of systems.11. Prepares and gives technical presentations.12. Complies with federal and state legal requirements (e.g. software licensing, confidentiality of employee records); ensures adherence to requirements and advises management on needed actions. May research existing and new legislation and propose policy changes.
Responsibilities
Manage large Active Directory environment, lifecycle activities, OS upgrades, hardware replacements.
Manage AD infrastructure, Azure AD Connect, MIM / FIM for daily operations.
Consult and provide AD integration guidance for application teams.
Review and approve configuration for DHCP, Radius and AD topology requests.
Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems with Managed Service Providers.
Work in proprietary ticketing tool for Level 3 / 4 support and ensure SLAs are met.
Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of Active Directory experience that includes designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise level Active Directory solutions.
3+ years hands-on managing large Multi AD Forest environments, deployments, domain consolidations and migrations.
3+ years Managing Azure AD and O365.
Designing and implementing security controls (MFA, Conditional Access, Hybrid Azure AD joined).
IAM cloud platforms and components (OKTA preferred).
Engineering existing IAM Cloud platforms and components.
Experience in scripting automated solutions using PowerShell.
Experience in acquisition and divestitures utilizing industry standard process and tools.
Quest AD Management experience is a plus.Skill Requirements:
Proven communication skills- verbal and written.
Ability to gain a thorough knowledge of the relevant specialty areas (MFA, Azure, MDM).
Willing to continuously update personal IT skills and knowledge.
Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success.
Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.
Ability to self-direct and work independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
5+ years experience with Active Directory, AD Federation Services, FIM / MIM, etc.
3+ Azure AD and O365 experience.
Expert understanding of the capabilities, requirements and interactions of various security technologies and disciplines.
