This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Windows Server Administrator. Looking for someone who has extensive server administration experience.Job Duties & Responsibilities: Microsoft Windows Server (All versions) expertise
Upgrade and maintain Windows Desktop OS levels
Define and document best practices and support procedures
Provide after-hours remote support for infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
Remote working environment familiarity as required
Maintain inventory and asset management configuration documentation
Assist with hardware, telecom and software vendor evaluations, recommendations.
Mentor / Cross-Train team members on existing and new technologies
Carry out special tasks at Management's direction
Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required
Azure VM deployment experience is a plus
Vmware (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere) expertise is a plus
Agile methodology experience is a plus
Experience with business continuity / disaster recovery failover/failback and runbook documentation
Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related area) preferred with at least 5+ years experience
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2003-2019)/ Managing deployments/rollouts
Solid understanding of server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX, vCenter, vSphere
Strong communication and documentation skills
Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
Must be willing to work effectively with all departments with the organization and work within a team
