Responsibilities
The IPF Division is looking for several Maintenance Technicians for our Tell City, IN plant. We are hiring for all three shifts. Looking for individuals who are interested in working 12 hour shifts with a schedule of 4 days on and 3 days off.This position will have the following essential duties:Program and troubleshoot PLCs. Operate fully automated equipment. Troubleshoot and repair machinery and controls utilizing experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, machinery systems, electrical and electronics.Perform maintenance and repair work to repair, maintain, and enhance buildings, facilities, machines and equipment requiring a complete knowledge of general trade fundamentals sufficient to deal with and perform repairs and maintenance work.Perform all required work to rig, move, repair and erect all types of machine tools and equipment, either new or existing.Troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate and correct mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubles to involve repairs and replacements of controls, motors, switches, devices and gear, etc. Make emergency repairs when necessary to offset excessive downtime and production delays.Work from drawings, sketches, specifications, instruction manuals, complicated electrical and electronic schematics. Proceed on assignments with minimum supervision and guidance; maintain a high degree of quality, quantity and safety as well as a clean work area. Also required to be on 24 hour call.Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications
Two year degree or 4 or more years experience in the last eight years.Experience with structural and machine maintenance as well as repairing parts and materials.Ability and experience to work with electrical power and compressed air.
