Manufacturing Engineer

 

Kelly Engineering Resources is hiring for a manufacturing engineer with experience in converting,bag/pouch making or printing operations

This role is a contract to hire opportunity with a leading food & pharma packaging company located in the North Suburbs. Your essential responsibilities will be to support new products being introduced into manufacturing and includes:


Working directly with customers & development team in determining manufacturing requirements & processes for printing onto product packaging.
Determining equipment requirements, color matching, process times & set up of printing equipment.
Ensuring process meets customer QA specifications with respect to time and cost savings.
Trouble shooting process and manufacturing problems using Six Sigma/Lean approach.


Qualifications of the Successful Manufacturing Engineer


BS in Engineer is a hard requirement.
Minimum 5 years' experience with:

converting, bag/pouch making or bag printing or labeling operations
manufacturing process development for new products 


Record of using Six Sigma/Lean tools professionally.
