Northrop Grumman is looking for a **Supply Chain Manager 2 - 2nd Shift** (4/10 Monday - Thursday) at our Palmdale Center of Excellence for the F35 Program.

The selected candidate will manage all aspects of Goods Movement to include shop floor integration and the RAPID center. Candidate must have experience working in a dynamic fast paced production environment. Ensure all service metrics are met, standard parts kiting accuracy and on-time delivery of component kits to support manufacturing operations.

**Other responsibilities include:**

+ Responsible for the direct supervision of both salaried exempt and non-exempt employees
+ Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines and general policies
+ Advises Leadership of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
+ Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Warehousing, Traffic, Procurement, etc...
+ Responsible for meeting direct budget targets, writing/updating work instructions, providing performance metrics and make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations

**Qualifications:**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ 5 years' experience in Global Supply Chain management with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Master's degree; 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
+ Prior experience leading a team/process/project
+ Working Knowledge of an MRP/ERP system
+ Ability to work a (4/10 Shift schedule - Monday- Thursday)

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ **Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field**
+ **Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude.**
+ **Working Knowledge of SAP**
+ **APICS certification**
