DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced technical product manager to own customer experience for newsrooms around the globe. Historically, newsrooms have had a tenuous relationship with large tech companies, but we firmly believe that we can differentiate our experiences by partnering with them in a way that redefines this relationship and transforms the way people consume news today. If you are looking for the next big thing in your career here at Amazon- we promise you, this is it.

Here€™s what you would have going for you:

1) Unbroken ground. Many of the problems we are solving are new to us, so we need brilliant, analytical minds to help us focus on solving big, impactful problems with delightful solutions. If you want to have impact and ownership, this is a great opportunity for you.

2) Fun problems. We own news experiences that cross many devices, from speakers to TVs and tablet to mobile. You will have the opportunity to touch every part of the news industry, working with leading providers around the globe.

3) An Amazing team. This is a big job, on a great team. We are the kind of people who obsess about customers in the shower (not in the creepy way€¦). We work hard, but we don€™t take ourselves too seriously. We want the future leaders of Amazon. We want dreamers and builders and people who can make fun of their own great ideas (€œWhat if we went door to door telling people about the news€¦€).
