Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:

+ Your career at POWER will provide you an opportunity to work on continuous processing systems with an emphasis in the Food & Beverage Industry. You will utilize your expertise to help companies ranging from small startup firms to large multinational firms. You will have the opportunity to work on all phases of a project, from the initial concept through the installation and commissioning of new lines, along with upgrades to existing production lines. Your unique skills willhelp our clients change and adapt their facilities and systems to meet the dynamic changes in their markets.

+ The Facilities Division of POWER engineers is a full-service consulting engineering firm that specializes and is a leader in theFood & Beverage, Federal, and Industrial facility design. POWER is consistently in the ENR top 5 for design firms in F&B.

+ Overall Tasks:

+ Design food process systems including:

+ Designs process and mechanical systems based onrough sketches, minimal input and personal experience

+ Researches information onlayouts by utilizing design specificreference materials

+ Recognizes the technical needs of a project andact onthoseasneeded

+ Coordinate and clarify coderegulations, specifications, and other detailed design requirements into designs

+ Implement POWER and ClientCADD project standards efficientlyforeach project that is assigned

+ Leadership:

+ Develop a work plan to meet project requirements andcommunicate planeffectively to others

+ Provide high quality work that is completed to POWER Standards

+ ProvidesCADD project coordination

+ Customer & Vendor Site visits

+ Customer site visits for data acquisition, meetings and installation/start-up as needed

+ Support vendor FATs, reviews and trials

Required Education/Experience

+ AA degree in CAD Design and 2+years of experience

+ 2+ years of current AutoCAD 2D/3D experience AutoCAD 2014 or newer, AutoCAD Inventor, AutoCAD Plant 3D suite

+ 2+ years of experience in design and layout of Food and Beverage processing systems to customer standards

+ Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word)

+ Proven ability to work in cross-functional engineering and design team

+ Ability to travel 20% to 50% within the United States

+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills

+ Be available to work overtime as required

Desired Education/Experience

+ 3D Modeling capabilities utilizing AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, and Navisworks.

+ Consulting Engineering Company experience.

+ Detail oriented in all work and focused on quality and accuracy.

+ Excellent follow through and coordination skills.

+ Effective in prioritizingand setting deadlines while meeting budgets

+ Ability to recognize the needs ofclients, respondaccordingly

+ 4+ years of utilizing industry CAD standards for layouts, PFDs and P&IDs

+ Working knowledge of the latest scanning hardware and software with experience integrating them into construction documents and CAD Models
