Pay rate : 25 $/hour

Role Purpose:

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for project management, coordination and set-up of all tactical sourcing events within the system on behalf of Corporate & Functions. In addition to tactical sourcing events, this role will have the authority to approve Purchase Orders (PO) within the boundary conditions defined by US FVC PSCM. The Sourcing Specialist will work intimately with US FVC PSCM, and the business to understand their objectives, requirements and boundary conditions and ensure these are reflected in all projects. In some instances, this role will be the face to the customer for certain projects and activities. The Sourcing Specialist will work in close association with a US FVC Sourcing Specialist.


This role requires consistent project tracking and communication as well as gaining sound working knowledge of SPU requirements. The ability to engage internal customers, US FVC PSCM, other functions within the GBS and stakeholders is required for sourcing initiatives and PO Approvals.

Other established Procurement activities in the GBS include placing and managing third party orders on behalf of Corporate & Functions in the United States and a range of data management activities. The Sourcing Specialist will interface with these roles as needed in support of end to end process management and delivery.



Project manage several concurrent sourcing events, ensuring that all customer needs are understood, and structure and resource projects to deliver these requirements.

Ultimate responsibility for project content and strategy including:

Project and bidding strategy, spend segmentation, supplier capability analysis and clarification of supplier information

Tender development and execution in the system, and full management / reporting on the projects
Liaise with business stakeholders and US FVC Procurement Specialists, clearly articulating process and project milestones

Manage internal and external resources to optimize client impact, also working closely with the US FVC Sourcing Specialist on executing sourcing events

Produce reports and analyse data – project status reports weekly, monthly summary reports of metrics and quarterly summary reports for sharing with senior PSCM leaders and stakeholders
