Essential Functions
Position Summary:
Advocate and support the Corporate WIN Strategy by participating in the Support of key customers. Manage Parkers performance as a supplier and help drive continuous improvement based on data and customer feedback.Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Must have ability to communicate cross-functionally with teams and to all levels of organization. Position requires ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form in order to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, suppliers, customers, and the general public.Essential Functions:Key OEM Customer contact for quality related topics including managing the customers communication portalParticipates in Customer reviews and provides input to Operations Team with regards to quality. Communicates customer quality system requirements to Division. Maintains documentation related to Parkers supplier ratings to our Key OEM customer.Manage customer communications for supplier change requests, product non-conformances, product/process deviations, Warranty, and Corrective Actions.Lead process for customer approvals of New Product Development Programs and changes to current programs including preparing and submitting PPAPs and change requests.Oversee internal dock audit process.Tracks performance trends and performs quality trend analysis for Key Customers and facilitates 8D corrective actions as appropriate.Utilizes lean manufacturing, error proofing, and continuous improvement initiatives to support Assembly line by assisting in development of robust processes that assures quality products and services.Participates in High performance teams to support Division Quality and Cost initiativesManages day to day activities on the production line including scrap, quality fallout, and process audits.Additional Comments:

-Bachelors Degree Engineering and 2-5 years related experience (Quality Engineering preferred).- Must have good working knowledge of APQP / PPAP processes.-Thorough knowledge of quality engineering/assurance techniques, procedures, instruments, equipment, theories, principles and concepts and general business operations.-Must have computer skills, be detailed oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritization skills.- Must have ability to effectively self-motivate, advocate risk based thinking, solve problems, assess and implement continuous improvement techniques to quality and manufacturing functions, to use standard business applications software and/or specialized data analysis tools, to establish goals and objectives to complete projects, and to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Prefer DFMEA and PFMEA experience. Prefer ASQ Certification, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification, and/or ISO Internal Auditor Certification.
