Job Summary:
The
Radar Systems Integration & Test Engineer
will be an integral and valued team member in support of the Multi-Function Radio Frequency System (MFRFS) product line with integration and test (I&T) of the Ku Band Radio Frequency System (KRFS). The MFRFS product line executes in a fast pace, spiral development environment that specifies, designs, implements, tests and fields radar technology for our customers that meet warfighter needs. The

Job Description:
The
Radar Systems Integration & Test Engineer

Performs upgrades, spares testing, troubleshooting, and repair of field returns.

Serves in a hands-on supporting role for various radar systems integration and test, as well as field activities in coordination with cross-functional (electrical, mechanical, software) troubleshooting efforts, system integration of new capabilities, and field tests.

Provides clear information and recommends solutions to senior engineers to resolve a wide range of technical issues rapidly and accurately.

Performs in a collaborative environment where each individual is required to proactively contribute at a high level and be flexible as priorities change rapidly.

Frequent travel will be required to support demonstrations and customer tests at US Government field test sites.

Work in a physically demanding environment, work outdoors in various weather and terrain, lift up to 28 pounds and bend to route cables.
The
Radar Systems Integration & Test Engineer
will be required to travel in support of system integration and testing activities.
This position can be a salary grade G09 or G10 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
Active/Current DoD Secret Clearance is required. Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Required Skills/Experience:

4+ years of technical
radar system integration and test experience
with a focus on electrical, mechanical and software troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment

Design and testing of RF components/radar subsystems

Experience with test equipment, test software, troubleshooting and problem solving
Active/Current DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Required Education :

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, Science or other relevant STEM-related discipline.
Desired Skills/Experience:

8+ years of technical radar system integration and test experience with a focus on MFRFS product and Ku Radio Frequency Systems

Communicating difficult technical information to leaders or customers

Manufacturing process knowledge and best practices

Knowledge of the transmit/receive chain, radar processing hardware/software and built-in test

Effective communication and presentation skills, meet schedule milestones, and work in a collaborative team and matrix environment

Able to travel up to 2 to 4 weeks quarterly

Able to work in a physically demanding environment, and work outdoors in various weather and terrain.

Masters of Science Degree in Engineering, Physics, or STEM-related discipline.
