Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Assess quality of patient care and coordinates services with patients and healthcare providers. Manage staff relations and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll. Oversee departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following: Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the New York Board of Physical Therapy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the New York Board of Occupational Therapy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Clinical Excersise Physiologist cert from Americal College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) obtained within 2 months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required. Work Experience: 3 years of experience required. 1 year of leadership or management experience required. Additional Preferences Masters Degree level Exercise Physiologist candidates are strongly preferred. ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist or AACVPR CCRP certification preferred.
