Amazon€™s Physical Stores team is searching for an exceptional and experienced builder who thrives thinking big. You will be working in the future, helping to invent and shape products related to Amazon€™s grocery footprint. As a Senior Customer Insights Manager, you should possess a strong customer focus, great instincts and business acumen, excellent analytical skills and be practiced at applying a wide variety of research methods to answer new and complex questions.

This role will develop and execute research methodologies as well as close partner across internal and third-party resources to aggregate inputs and address questions with no easy answer. This role requires an individual with a passion for consumer behavior, excellent analytical abilities, and strong ability to look round corners to identify customer needs and pain points. This person will need to be comfortable using data to influence internal and external stakeholders and possess superb written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and be motivated by a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Primary responsibilities:
· Define the roadmap of insights and learning plan we need to support our business objectives.
· Develop and execute market research directly and through agencies and third-party tools.
· Collect data, draw insights, author and make business-oriented recommendations.
· Track and report on competitive landscape and industry trends.
· Work with cross-functional teams within the organization (e.g. marketers, category managers and innovation PMs, in-house insight teams) and manage external insight-related vendors.

· 5+ years of relevant experience
· Ability to manage end-to-end research (design and manage primary research, synthesize secondary sources).
· Capable of investigating, familiarizing and mastering new data sets quickly.
· Ability to display complex qualitative and quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format
· Excellent communication skills, able to present findings in a clear and concise manner
· Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture.
· Strong drive for results and ability to take calculate risks.
· Proven project management skills.

· Advanced technical or business degree (MSc or MBA).
· Experience building concepts
· Experience in conducting large-scale applied research studies.
· Track record with applied statistics, predictive analytics, and mixed methodology research.
· Proven ability to leverage data and qualitative research to build business and investment cases.
· Proven track record of taking ownership and building products that drive exceptional results.
· Experience with grocery industry data; IRI, Nielsen, etc.
· Broad multi-disciplinary working experience (Operations, Finance, Category, Supply-Chain, Space Planning, Real Estate).
