Job Details


+ Leads strategic planning related to real estate opportunities while working closely with senior executives, operations, regional strategic planning, legal, and PDC (planning, design, and construction), in order to influence the organization and make effective decisions.

+ Directs new real estate transactions related to development, due diligence, disposition, and lease negotiations (transactions).

+ Directs the management and administration of hundreds of leases and license agreements (operations) to meet the terms of our agreements, ensure agreements remain within FMV (fair market value) and are compliant with Stark, anti-kickback, and other requirements.

+ Leads effective relationships with external real estate partners (developers, brokers, landlords, property management companies) to support our real estate strategy and ensure cost effectiveness.

+ Manages a team of real estate managers, accountants, and others through direct and indirect reporting relationships.

+ Sets goals and manages an effective dashboard to measure progress to support system KPIs.

+ Coaches and mentors employees. Creates a culture of employee engagement. Organizes departments within the organization through appropriate structure and delegation of functions. Identifies succession planning needs within the organization.

+ Assumes fiscal responsibility for budgetary planning and implementation for assigned areas.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.


+ Bachelors degree in business, strategy, real estate or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience


+ Ten years experience in real estate, with five years leadership


+ Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

+ Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

+ Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

+ Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

+ Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

+ Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

+ Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

+ Rare climbing.
