Job summary
AWS Infrastructure Risk Management is seeking a world class Senior Product Manager Tech with a risk mindset to imagine and implement the next generation of control tools that will support the growth of AWS Finance for the next decade.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work with AWS Finance customers to define the vision for automated controls
  • Design and prototype "no-code" or "low-code" product(s) to create, execute and report on controls at scale across AWS Finance and beyond (using UI features such as drag & drop, chatbots and more)
  • Collaborate with Tech teams to leverage the best of AWS products including Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing
  • Influence strategic initiatives, internal policies and governance structures to embed controls where needed

A day in the life
The Senior Product Manager Tech acts as SME on all controls surrounding AWS investments into Data Centers globally:
  • They challenge existing controls and control designs
  • They enable controls at scale by designing, prototyping and implementing products and features that enable the creation, scheduling and execution of controls at scale
  • They influence the roadmaps of key AWS software used for supply chain operations and risk management
  • They drive Think Big risk programs from ideation to completion
  • They own AWS CFO goals end-to-end and communicate back to the AWS Finance leadership, CFO and AWS Board

About the team
AWS Infrastructure Risk Management oversees all risks related to AWS investments in Infrastructure worldwide.


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Knowledge of Python, SQL or other programming language(s)
  • MBA or Masters in Business, Finance, Engineering
  • Comfort with ambiguity and an ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills


  • 10 years of Product Management Tech experience
  • Experience of AWS products and/or AWS certification
  • Risk Management experience and/or certification (FRM, PRMIA)
