Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for you to join our team as a SMORS Project Management or Principal Project Management based out of Colorado Springs, CO. This position will serve on the Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program, focused on the Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS). This position will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

**What You'll Get to Do:**

+ Develop customer relationships and cultivate customer intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community
+ Lead and direct a cross-functional Integrated Program Team (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical objectives
+ Develop and deliver presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders
+ Define, plan, perform, monitor, control, and complete a variety of project tasks simultaneously.
+ Perform Control Account Management (CAM) duties
+ Develop and adhere to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools
+ Develop and execute to an Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
+ Provide status, variance reports, EV metrics, and Estimate At Complete (EAC) on a regular basis per program requirements
+ Work with the staff to status the IMS
+ Work to targeted cost, schedule, and staffing requirements
+ Review labor resource and cost actuals on a weekly basis, taking action on any discrepancies
+ Support development of packages for Proposal and Change Requests for cost and schedule and present to Sr. Leadership
+ Support and generate staffing requirements, documentation, forecasts, seating requirements and reporting
+ Facilitate internal meetings to support staffing, ensuring the staffing needs meet the staffing baseline
+ Adhere to all internal processes for Program Management
+ Perform schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
+ A bility to work in a dynamic, fast paced, team oriented environment and be a self-starter, efficient in achieving goals and proactive in pursuing subsequent tasks.

This requisition may be filled at either a Project Management or Principal Project Management

**BQs for a Project Management are...**

+ Education/Experience: 3 Years with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters; 5 Years with Associates; or 7 years of relevant project management, control account management or technical leadership experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
+ Experience working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT)
+ Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point
+ Ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization having excellent presentation skills
+ Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications for a Project Management:**

+ Experience in multiple aspects of the systems engineering process, from requirements analysis through verification testing
+ Familiarity with Earned Value Management
+ Familiarity with Risk Management, Return to Green (RTG) plans, and Scheduling cross functional activities
+ Previous experience working Agile Development projects
+ Agile or SCRUM Certification
+ Knowledge of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
+ Active DoD Secret clearance

**BQs for a Principal Project Management are...**

+ Education/Experience: 6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Year with Masters; 8 Years with Associates; or 10 years of relevant project management, control account management or technical leadership experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
+ Hands on experience in project management, control account management or technical leadership.
+ Experience working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT)
+ Experience with CAM and EVM methodologies
+ Experience in multiple aspects of the systems engineering process, from requirements analysis through verification testing
+ Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point
+ Previous experience working Agile Development projects
+ Ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization having excellent presentation skills
+ Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications for Level 3:**

+ Experience with manufacturing engineering and their interaction with associated tooling
+ Master's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)
+ Experience with Risk Management, Return to Green (RTG) plans, and Scheduling cross functional activities
+ Experience in Firm Fixed Price contracts and earned value management knowledge.
+ PMP Certification
+ Agile or SCRUM Certification
+ Advanced level knowledge of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
+ Knowledge of/experience with cyber security requirements and processes
+ Active DoD Secret clearance
