  • Lead precious metals accounting and reporting for Honeywell€™s UOP Business. Will proactively work with the precious metals managers to post metals receipts and transfers with suppliers and posting assay settlements.
  • Lead monthly reconciliation of all intercompany, third party vendor, inventory, and equity accounts in the Company ledger as well as the special ledger, acting as the primary owner for issue resolution in metals balances.
  • Assist in meeting global internal controls requirements with key leaders (SBU Controllership and SBU/GBE Finance leaders) to ensure inventory, customer, and vendor balances are within SEA threshold regionally and globally.
  • Provide analysis on past due customers, precious metals variance reserves, and new precious metals purchases.
  • Provide summary reconciliations of metals balances and production activities during regular business forecast cadence and full reconciliations leading into the financial close.
  • Handle any ad hoc precious metals related matters, including resolution of production system and metals ledger issues and clearing audit exception reports prior to month-end.
  • Own annual precious metals balance confirmation with customers and vendors.

    • Highly proficient in information technology financial applications particularly SAP, Hyperion and Excel financial models and Power-point

      • Bachelor€™s degree in finance or accounting
      • 5+ years of commercial business experience (i.e. business analysis, financial planning & analysis)
      • ERP systems experience (i.e. SAP)
      • Cost accounting background

        WE VALUE
        • MBA or CPA is preferred
        • Experience working in a Supply Chain environment is preferred
        • Solid Finance & Accounting skill-set, including Cost Accounting and FP&A
        • Experience working in a supply chain environment is preferred but not required
        • Strong proactive leadership mentality and approach
        • Excellent organizational and time management skills
        • Ability to drive process improvements in a global environment
