Amazon Finance & Global Business Services (FGBS) plays a key role in Amazon€™s mission to be Earth€™s most customer-centric company. FGBS includes finance functions like Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Tax, as well as other functions like Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF), Investor Relations, and Customer Insights. We are seeking an experienced, customer-obsessed, internal communications manager to help us tell our story. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a range of communications across multiple mediums, including digital communications via email and intranet, as well as for presentations and events.

This role requires exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work backwards from sometimes ambiguous requirements to generate clear, concise communications. The right candidate is part coach, part advocate, and all communications expert.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about delivering purpose-led communications, and has proven experience managing priorities and working effectively across a number of internal stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for an expert Communications Generalist. The right candidate will get to roll up their sleeves and be involved with executive communications, large-scale internal event execution, and help to connect our global workforce through their storytelling.

* Develop executive communications strategies that meet senior leaders' employee experience goals and objectives.

* Write messaging and content for executive speaking, presentations, and other leadership communications that reach global internal audiences.

* Help drive adoption of new communications tools, like our intranet site, and propose new methods to scale our internal communications efforts while maintaining employee-led storytelling.

* Serve as program lead to ensure opportunities to communicate (All Hands, event presentations, video, email etc.) are bar raising in both content and delivery.

* Work closely with senior leaders, HR partners, PR partners, and employee-led groups to deliver projects with exceptional results.


· Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
· 5+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects
· 5+ years of experience in program or project management
· 5+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
* Bachelor€™s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

* 7+ years€™ executive or internal communications experience, preferably at a global organization.

* Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to articulate a clear point of view within concise communications.

* Demonstrated experience building trust and influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders.

* Experience in inclusion and equity/HR communications is highly preferred.

* Experience developing and implementing communication plans.

* Experience creating content: digital, written, video, or visual communications materials.

* Experience driving cultural change and influencing organizations through communications, from audience and stakeholder analysis through implementation and success metrics tracking.

* Proven ability to thrive in a high-energy environment where tactical and strategic activities operate in parallel.

* Proven ability to think strategically and implement ideas from ideation to measurement/evaluation.

* Ability to exercise high judgment, particularly in narrow timeframes.

* A curious and agile individual with a €œcan-do€ problem-solving approach to managing ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
