We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources department as a Human Resources Business Partner within AWS€™s Infrastructure Organization, specifically focused on Hardware Engineering.

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner who has experience working with tech teams in multiple locations, who will own and drive the people agenda and partner with AWS Infrastructure Leaders.

Role can be based in Cupertino, CA or Seattle, WA.

The role is both a strategic and hands on role including improving organizational effectiveness & design, leading change management, providing leadership coaching and driving HR functional excellence. We are seeking an experienced senior HR business partner who can effectively interact with business leaders at all levels, possesses excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and works effectively across multiple locations.

· Able to travel, as needed (minimally).


· 6+ years of experience in Human Resources
· Bachelor's Degree required in Human Resources Management or related Field
· Experience working in a matrix setting
· Knowledge of employment laws, such as ERISA, COBRA, ADA, and other federal and state laws regulating discrimination and equal opportunity employment


· Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred.
· 3+ years HR experience in a high tech environment.
· Experience working with a global team.
· Experience in the administration of HR compensation plans.
· Experience assessing management and executive talent.
· Broad experience and specific knowledge of human resource theory, including employee relations, development and performance appraisal systems.
