Core Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of this role will be to: provide critical feedback on Amazon expansion and real estate plans to leadership, deliver and write strategic documents to improve expansion processes, identify areas of cost improvement throughout the expansion and real estate execution process. The manager will also assess operational feasibility of buildings, and build recommendations with financial justifications/forecasts on where to locate Amazon FCs. Often you will be meeting with directors of operations to absorb operational requirements and work with brokers, transaction managers, and real estate managers to turn these requirements into physical buildings.

What we€™re looking for
The ideal candidate is a demonstrated manager who thinks big and works cross functionally with a number of stakeholders. They have a bias for action and can quickly analyze the long term financial/operational/supply chain viability of large investments/FCs, communicate the impact of these investments to leadership, and execute deals after receiving approval. This opportunity requires excellent operational planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.


· Bachelor's Degree in finance/management/supply chain/economics/industrial engineering or related field
· 5+ years of relevant work experience in finance/operations/real estate/supply chain engineering/industrial engineering
· Experience in in expansion planning and project management


· MBA with a focus on finance/operations/industrial engineering
· Experience in industrial/DC real estate acquisition
· Well practiced in process improvement, PMP principles, and executing multi-million-dollar fixed asset contracts
· Well acquainted with supply chain cost structures: fixed, variable, and transportation
· Experience in communicating to senior management
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
