Amazon Web Services is seeking an experienced, self-directed Technical Program Manager with Technical skills to design and implement advanced process and tooling to support our growing Professional Services practice. This is a unique opportunity to define, design and drive change with the creation of innovative processes and applications to enable the organization to scale its capabilities to help accelerate our enterprise customers' journey to the cloud. This is a high-visibility and high business impact role.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services engages in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, spanning diverse technologies across multiple industries. The Application Migration, Modernization & Management Practice collaborates across the entire AWS organization to deliver the best solutions for customers, connect with AWS product and service teams, and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs. As trusted customer advocates, the Practice helps organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate and/or re-develop existing workloads in the cloud. You will help shape, execute, and deliver solutions for a broad range of customer use cases primarily from large enterprise customers.

Are you passionate about solving business problems through data driven decision making? In this role, you will own responsibility for one or more critical process and systems areas and will partner with stakeholders to define both the near-term and long term strategy for those areas. Your recommendations, based on data, will contribute deeply to the direction of the ProServe application roadmap and will provide the right balance of quick-win efficiency gains with the longer-term optimization of the business. You will work closely with the global operations and field teams to achieve business objectives and communicate insights to key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
· Conducting analysis to identify opportunities, highlight strengths, and provide recommended corrective actions.
· Requirements gathering, aggregation and development.
· Design and visualization of both functional and technical solutions with a diverse range of stakeholders.
· Detailed business process optimization and design.
· Invent new ways to define and measure program effectiveness and organizational productivity.
· Root cause analysis and presentation of recommendations.
· Acting as the SME for multiple functional areas and delivering training in these areas.


- 5+ years of Program Manager experience for large or global programs
- 5+ years€™ experience of managing multiple projects in-parallel across a complex program.
- 5+ years of program management skills with experience in influencing others outside of direct line of reporting, and advocating on behalf of the customer
- Experience analyzing and visualizing vast quantities of data to extract patterns and trends.
- Bachelor€™s Degree or equivalent experience


- Demonstrated ability to understand and deep-dive into Risk Management and Program governance
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels, including senior leadership
- History of teamwork and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done
- Certified with one or more AWS certifications, or relevant industry certifications
- Independent thinker capable of operating within ambiguously defined structures with a bias for delivering tangible results.
- High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Able to navigate ambiguous situations, identify and solve for blockers with minimal guidance, know how to influence, build cross-organizational partnerships.
- Skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.
- Desire to learn and stay on top of technology trends
