Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector has a need for a Staff Systems Engineer - Electronic Warfare at its Subsystem and Software Sustainment (S&SS) organization in Warner Robins, GA. This senior level systems engineer will serve as a leader on our Electronic Warfare (EW) programs. This position requires extensive knowledge of all aspects of Electronic Warfare. The individual will support a variety of tasks that include integrating system enhancements and new technology into EW systems, understanding tradeoffs in software defined radio designs and how to integrate and test solutions, designing and analyzing algorithms to insert into software block cycles, and RF system level analysis. The candidate will provide technical advice to internal leadership and our customer on our current project portfolio as well as in future strategic technology directions.

The work we perform crosses companies, sites, and engineering disciplines. This will require a candidate with proven leadership skills and the capability to collaborate with our customer and engineering teams in multiple locations.

The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate strong leadership skills to achieve sustainable top performance. He or she will have experience as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. This candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate. Demonstrated abilities to lead through mentoring and coaching are necessary.

**Qualifications:**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ 14+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; 12+ years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree or higher
+ Demonstrated performance in analyzing customer needs, designing solutions, and integrating technology and algorithms in an Electronic Warfare system
+ Proven leadership skills as a people and technical leader, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
+ Proven ability to manage and maintain excellent customer relationships
+ Demonstrated performance in systems requirements development and mapping customer needs to lower level subsystem and software requirements and creating integration and test strategies
+ Must have a current Secret Clearance and be able to maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in designing a hardware in the loop test capabilities for solutions
+ Experience in Embedded System
+ Experience with RF System Analysis and Integration
+ Experience in analyzing software defined radio algorithms or solutions
+ Experience with analyzing digital signal processing algorithms
+ Experience in all aspects of the engineering development lifecycle
+ Experience in Model & Simulation Based Engineering
+ Experience with development and/or integration and test of software defined receivers, and/or DRFMs
