Transaction Banking - Mission Control - Vice President

Bengaluru, India




  • Seeking a highly motivated technologist who has strong experience in incident, change and problem management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incidents, including communication and escalation, driving and managing regional change management meetings, and managing relationships with product, operations and engineering teams.
  • Candidate will work with global teams to monitor and manage the production environment with a high level of product, operations and engineering interaction. This includes the generation of performance metrics and analysis, creation of business continuity and disaster recovery failover strategies, working with engineering teams to understand data flow, system dependencies, and deployment characteristics. Candidate is also expected to identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement through efficiency and platform hygiene programs, adoption of strategic tooling, and automation of manual tasks.
  • Lead adoption of (and adherence to recurring) firmwide risk/control programs. Assist with audit, client and regulatory inquires.


Skills and Experience


  • Minimum 7 years of production support experience, including incident, change and problem management
  • S. or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent work experience)
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication stills
  • Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
  • Manage adherence to the Corporate Standards
  • Support the creation of important reports for the senior management and control functions
  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure (and react calmly, but quickly) in emergency situations
  • Automation of manual processes/reporting via scripting


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Financial Industry/Fintech is a plus
  • Strong technical skills with past experience manipulating data and working with large sets
  • Strong business judgment and excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong project management skills; ability to gain consensus among staff and drive initiatives to completion effectively
  • Training and guidance/runbook writing (e.g., develop procedures, templates and guidance)
  • Previous DevOps and Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience a plus
  • Experience with various programming languages such as Python/Java for building automation or integration with API a plus
