Department Marketing Statement
Industrial Gas Filtration and Generation Division, Parker Hannifin Corp, specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of compressed air & gas treatment, on-site gas generation systems and clean air solutions.
Major Duties
Performs powder paint or sandblast duties and may have the ability to perform work in either area.
Responsibilities
1. Follows established safety and environmental policies, procedures and methods applicable to the work area.
2. Performs other duties as necessary.
3. Knowledge of powder coating process.Sandblast
1. Ensure there are no grease or liquids on the product prior to sandblast.
2. Masks over parts and areas that are not to be blasted.
3. Follow work instruction to properly operate sandblast equipment.Paint
1. Coats surfaces of machines, manufactured products.
2. Cleans powder equipment and performs color changes.
3. Familiarity with TCI/ PCG powder paint preferred.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).EXPERIENCE:
2 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.SKILLS:
Ability to understand and follow written work instructions.
Must pass physical and fit test in order to operate paint equipment.
Computer skills including MS Office, Lotus Notes and ability to learn Parker business systems.
